Profile in a nutshell

I am a Senior Freelance Consultant, expert in Project Management & Agilist. With more than 20 years of experience in consulting, I help organizations to improve their capacity and competences in order to deliver programs and projects more efficiently. I excel in change management assignments by taking the initiatives and providing a hands-on approach, in a pragmatic and reliable way.

Prior to taking on my current position, I worked for Capgemini for ten years. I served as Business Unit Manager of the IT Infrastructure Services of Sogeti in Brussels, Belgium. I was responsible for the Project and Programme Portfolio (11 M€ annual budget and 110 multi-located resources). My previous position was Project Manager, managing the lifecycle of large IT Enterprise Management projects. Prior to that, my professional experiences were in the field of interim management (reorganization of small and medium IT departments, improvement projects, and organizational change).

From an academic point of view, I earned my Doctorate (PhD) in Strategy, Program & Project Management with a dissertation about motivation of knowledge workers in project-based organizations. I also hold a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA), a Master of Economic and Social Politics degree (M.Sc.), and a Bachelor of Computer Science degree (B.Sc.).

I am accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP). I am also Prince2 Practitioner and Program Management (MSP) Practitioner.
